LLB known as Bachelor of Legislative Law is an undergraduate degree that involves the study of the Indian constitution and law. LLB is also known as Bachelor of law in few law colleges of India. Course Duration

Course Duration of LLB degree varies according to the type, of course, opted by you. LLB is available in two ways:-

  • 3 years LLB course for graduates
  • 5 years LLB course for undergraduates. 5-year courses are known as BA LLB, B.com LLB, BBA LLB.

Eligibility criteria for LLB

Eligibility criteria for pursuing LLB course varies according to the course opted by you. 3 years LLB degree has different eligibility criteria from 5 years LLB degree.

  • For 3 years LLB course applicant must have completed graduation in any discipline with minimum 45% marks.
  • There is no age limit for pursuing an LLB degree.
5 years of LLB criteria BA LLB and B.com LLB eligibility criteria

For admission in BA LLB or B.com LLB course student must be 10+2 pass with minimum 50% marks.

Course fees of LLB degree course:-

Fees of LLB degree in regular mode varies from college to college and lies in the range of Rs. 25,000-50,000 per year.

Admission Procedure in LLB degree course

Admission in an LLB degree course in various law institutes of India is done on the basis of entrance examinations conducted by the central government of India on a national level. Few colleges also conduct their entrance exams for admission in the course.
